Terms of use
Last updated: 24 July 2026
imcomingg is a place where riders and drivers find each other and agree a job. We are not the carrier: the transport contract is between the rider and the driver, and the price is whatever the two of you agree in chat.
Accounts
- You must be 18 or older to hold an account.
- Rider and driver accounts are separate, and both are free.
- Use your real name. A driver's account name must match the document they upload.
- One person, one account per role. Do not let anyone else drive under your account.
Identity
Identity verification
Where identity verification applies:
- Ordinary bookings — a ride, parcel, tiffin or custom job — require no rider ID. You are collected by a driver whose licence and ID we have both checked, the job is tracked, and deliveries carry a handover PIN.
- Shared journeys require a valid government photo ID from both travellers. You are asked for it at the point of booking a journey. A request may be sent while a document is under review, but nobody can be confirmed onto a journey until their ID has been checked.
- Drivers must hold an approved government ID and an approved driving licence before going online, whatever they intend to carry.
- The document must be current, legible, and issued to you. Uploading someone else's document, or an altered one, ends the account permanently and may be a criminal offence where you live.
- When a job is confirmed, each side is shown the other's name, document type, issuing country and the last four digits of the number. Use it to check the physical card. Do not screenshot it, publish it, or use it for any purpose other than confirming who you are dealing with.
- Never send your full ID document to another user, and never ask for theirs. Nobody on this platform needs it, and anyone who asks is not to be trusted.
- Never pay anyone before you meet them. No deposit, no transfer, no booking fee. We will never ask for one and neither will a legitimate driver.
Driver approval
- Car and motorcycle drivers must upload a valid legal driving licence. Bicycle couriers must upload a government photo ID.
- You must hold whatever licence, permit, registration or insurance your country requires for the work you accept. That obligation is yours, not ours.
- We may approve, reject, or later withdraw approval — including where a document expires, a report is upheld, or details do not match.
- Only approved drivers can appear online or accept bookings.
Bookings and prices
- Fare estimates on the site are indicative. The binding number is the one agreed in the chat thread.
- Agree waiting time, tolls, extra stops and payment method before the job starts.
- Cancelling is free until the driver starts the trip. After that, settle any part-payment fairly between yourselves.
- A driver may decline any job without giving a reason.
Parcels and tiffin
The sender is responsible for what is inside a parcel. The following must never be sent through the platform:
- Cash, gold, or anything you could not afford to lose
- Anything illegal to possess or transport at either end of the journey
- Weapons, ammunition, controlled substances
- Live animals
- Flammable, corrosive or pressurised goods
- Unpackaged sharp objects, or fragile items with no protective packaging
Food sent as tiffin must be packed so it survives the journey. Neither the driver nor imcomingg is responsible for spoilage caused by inadequate packing.
Vehicle limits
- Car — passengers and luggage up to the seats listed on the driver's profile.
- Motorcycle — one passenger, no luggage beyond what can be carried safely. Wear a helmet; a driver may refuse to carry you without one.
- Bicycle — deliveries only, no passengers, and journeys of 8 km or less.
Monthly plans
A monthly plan is an arrangement between a rider and a driver for a repeating run. The plan price shown by the site is a suggestion based on the discount tier; the two of you confirm the real figure in chat. Either side may end a plan, and should give the other reasonable notice before doing so.
Reviews and tips
- Review only jobs you actually took, and describe what happened.
- Reviews cannot be edited once posted. We remove reviews that contain abuse, personal data, or a demand for money.
- Tips are voluntary, go entirely to the driver, and are never required for service.
Shared journeys
The shared journeys board is different from booking a ride, and the difference matters legally. When you book a ride, you engage a driver to take you somewhere. When you join a shared journey, you agree with another person to travel together. imcomingg is not a party to that agreement.
What imcomingg is, on this feature
A noticeboard and a messaging tool. We publish listings, we verify that seat-selling drivers hold a valid licence in their own name, we keep the messages on record, and we remove listings that are reported. That is the whole of our role.
What imcomingg is not
- Not the carrier. We do not transport you and we do not employ, direct or supervise the person who does.
- Not a background-checking service. A verified licence means a person may legally drive. It says nothing about their character, their history or whether they are safe to sit beside.
- Not your insurer. We do not insure you, the vehicle, the other passengers or your belongings.
- Not present. We are not on the journey and cannot intervene during it.
Responsibility
You take part in a shared journey at your own risk and on your own judgement. If something happens between the people on a shared journey — a disagreement, a loss, damage to property, an accident, or any harm of any kind — that is a matter between those people and, where a crime may have been committed, the police of the country you are in. To the fullest extent the law allows, imcomingg accepts no responsibility and no liability for what happens on a journey arranged through this board.
Nothing in this section removes rights you have under the law of your own country that cannot be signed away, and nothing here limits our liability for anything the law does not permit us to limit.
Rules for everyone using the board
- Only drivers with an approved licence may list seats for a price. Do not sell seats without one.
- List honestly: the real route, the real date, the real vehicle, the real price. A price agreed on a listing should not change at the roadside.
- A shared journey is cost-sharing between travellers, not a taxi service. Do not use the board to run an unlicensed commercial passenger operation — in many countries that is a criminal matter for you, not for us.
- Anyone may withdraw from a journey at any time, before or during, without giving a reason.
- A travellers preference on a listing (for example, women travellers only) exists for someone's safety or comfort. Respect it. Joining a listing whose stated preference does not describe you is a breach of these terms.
- Do not ask for payment in advance of meeting, and do not send money to someone you have not met. Almost every scam on a board like this starts there.
- No harassment, no discrimination, no threats, no unwanted contact after a journey ends.
- Report anything that feels wrong. Three reports remove a listing automatically, and we review what is reported.
Minors and vulnerable passengers
Do not list, join, or arrange a shared journey for anyone under 18 travelling without a parent or guardian. Do not arrange for an unaccompanied minor to be collected by someone they have not met. If you are arranging travel for someone who cannot make that judgement for themselves, book a normal ride instead, where a single verified driver takes them door to door and the trip is tracked with a handover PIN.
Insurance and licensing is yours to check
Carrying passengers for payment can change what insurance and what licence a vehicle needs, and the rules differ in every country and often in every city. That is the driver's responsibility to check and to hold, not ours to verify. Driving without the right cover can void a policy entirely — including for the passengers.
Fees
Almost everything on imcomingg is free. There is exactly one paid service, and this section describes it in full.
- Free for everyone: creating a rider or driver account, short and long rides, parcels, tiffin delivery, custom jobs, monthly plans, shared journeys and empty return legs. No joining fee, no monthly fee, no commission on a fare, and no share of any tip.
- Premium tier: when a professional books a vehicle from the Luxury Rides section, imcomingg adds a service fee calculated on the vehicle charge, subject to a minimum. The fee is shown in full before the request is sent.
- Who pays it: the professional making the booking. It is added on top of the owner's published rate and never deducted from it. The vehicle owner receives the full amount they advertised.
- How each part is paid: the vehicle charge and any refundable deposit are settled directly between the professional and the owner. The service fee is payable to imcomingg.
- Changes: the fee rate may change. The rate shown at the time you send a request is the rate that applies to it.
Self-drive hire
Some premium vehicles are offered self-drive. Additional rules apply, because you are taking possession of someone else's vehicle:
- You must have a verified government ID and a verified driving licence on your own account before you can book self-drive. A chauffeured booking requires neither.
- The owner sets the refundable deposit, the minimum hire period, the minimum driver age, the distance included and the charge beyond it. Every one of these is shown to you before you book.
- You are responsible for the vehicle while it is in your possession, including traffic fines, tolls and any damage.
- Insurance is a matter between you and the owner. Confirm in writing what is covered and what the excess is before taking the keys. imcomingg does not insure the vehicle, the driver, the passengers or any third party, and is not a party to the hire agreement.
- Photograph the vehicle from all sides at handover and at return. Both parties should keep those photographs.
- Driving without the correct licence class, or permitting anyone else to drive the vehicle, ends the account and may be a criminal matter.
Live location
- Sharing a live position is optional and is chosen by the driver for each individual job.
- It is visible only to people holding that booking's tracking code, and stops automatically when the job ends.
- A position is an aid, not a guarantee. Signal drops, phones die and accuracy varies — a stale or missing position does not mean anything is wrong, and the stage timeline remains the authoritative record.
- Estimated arrival times are calculated from a straight-line distance and an average speed. They are indicative and are not a promise of arrival.
- Do not use another person's live position for any purpose beyond following the job it belongs to. Following, recording or passing on someone's movements is grounds for removal and may be a criminal matter.
Behaviour
Harassment, discrimination, threats, drink or drug driving, and carrying anything on the banned list will end an account immediately. Reported accounts are frozen while the report is reviewed. Keep negotiations in the chat thread — moving to a private channel removes the record that protects both of you.
Safety
The emergency button shows the national emergency number for the country you select. Confirm the correct number for your own area; it can differ locally. In an emergency, call the authorities first and tell us afterwards.
Liability
We connect people; we do not drive, carry, insure or inspect vehicles. To the extent the law allows, imcomingg is not liable for loss, damage, delay or injury arising from a job arranged through the platform. Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer or transport law of your own country.
Changes
These terms change as the platform grows. The date at the top tells you when. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
